Two year olds are tough....

We recently took our annual trip down to Coos Bay, Oregon. Kenny and I were really looking forward to the trip since we bought Kenny Jr a new quad. We figured the whole week would be spent riding him around the campground on his new bike...after all, he begged and begged to ride it at home where no issue of putting a helmet on existed as you can see in the picture above. So, we get to Oregon and the little bugger WOULD NOT put his helmet on. I am talking the two-year-old temper tantrum...screaming and kicking and holding his head in his hands hysterically sobbing, "NO!!!!" I figure reverse psychology might do the trick so we ignore the whole issue for a day. To our great disappointment, Kenny Jr still would not put the helmet on...so sad. I guess you really can't tell a two-year-old what to do. Instead he was as happy as a clown "driving" in Aunt Bre's car. I think next year we will just send him to Aunt Bre's to stay for the week....
