Roo is going to be 2!!??

I can't believe my baby is going to be 2 already....she is my little sunshine.

Adrienne and Bella are best friends....and they act like sisters! They want to be with each other but not "near" each other. They fight over toys, dolls, food, cups....you name and they fight over it. At Kenny's party they were fighting over the same toy the whole time!

Kenny Jr's 4th Birthday

Kenny turned 4 on May 1st and celebrated with a 3 day party! He got his first scooter from Grandma and Grandpa Young on Wednesday, followed by a trip to "Chunky Cheeses" on Friday with Aunt Bre and his official birthday party was Saturday at Jumpin Jack and Jills in Sumner. He also got a special birthday cake on Thursday from his cousins. What a lucky boy!! Needless to say, it took him 3 days to recover!!

Adrienne and I go to a Mommy and Me class on Monday nights. It is a great time for her and I to bond and she loves the social interaction. There is really not a lot of "ballerina" dancing going on but she does like to shake her booty!

Emerald Downs

Kenny Jr and Adrienne have started "racing" each other on their seperate horses. They giggle endlessly when they do it. Although I know Adrienne would prefer the big horse to her little one!

Kenny is a photographer

Kenny Jr has really been into taking pictures on my camera lately. He gets a kick out of taking one and saying "show it to me please". So we do that over and over again. Here are a couple samples of his work.

My Little German Girl

I love this picture of Adrienne. It reminds me of when I was little and my grandmother made me little German dresses for my dolls. She loves to sit on the counter and mess with everything.

Jeeping

So, Kenny is always begging me to go jeeping with him. I finally gave in and went up with the group on New Years Day. Mostly because he got a new rig that is enclosed, has heat and a normal seat belt. Of course, we started out great but soon realized there was a blizzard of snow moving in as we moved up to Evan's Creek. We had a total of 5 rigs with us and at one point, everyone was stuck on one road because of the snow and ice. Us girls hid in the warmth of the trucks while the guys worked tirelessly to get everyone out. It was hilarious.
It has to be said that this is they guys' normal idea of fun while jeeping. However, the girls didn't find it very entertaining. We were led to believe this was a nice ride up to a campground to build a fire and play in the snow. We left Orting at 10am, arrived at Evan's Creek around 3pm, headed back down at 5pm and didn't pick up our kids until 9:30pm! I was exhausted and I can't imagine how the guys felt since they did all the work!!

Good Friends

I saw this picture on my girlfriend's Facebook and loved it!! These girls have been my friends as long as I can remember. We've been through a lot together and still have a blast when we hang out. I hope we are still good friends 70 years from now, drinking beer, reliving stories from school and gossiping about old boyfriends!!
