Adrienne learned something new....

Adrienne has picked up a new phrase from her big brother......

Ocean Shores

We took off this weekend for Ocean Shores. The weather was fabulous! No wind, warm sun and the ocean water was actually tolerable for bare feet! Even Adrienne was wading around in the water. We spent the whole day on the beach. Bob, Shelle and Logan came down too. Uncle Bob let the boys fly his kite which Kenny Jr really liked.

We had a moment of panic when we first drove onto the beach because the Expedition wouldn't switch over to 4 wheel drive and we were spinning our tires. Thankfully, it decided to cooperate!!

My dear friend...

One last post for today....tomorrow marks the 2nd anniversary of Susanne Neil Scaringi's passing. I miss her dearly and I can honestly say I think about her everyday. I try to make her proud by living every day to the fullest and I try to remember never to take anything for granted...my children, my wonderful husband, my family and dear friends, my life. Because I know now, more than ever, these are all precious gifts that can be taken so suddenly.

Every year on September 27th, our plan as a family is to honor Susanne's memory by reminding ourselves to live, laugh and love each other to the fullest.

I miss you Susanne and you are never really gone when so many still love you.

Doodlebops!

Last Sunday, Adrienne and I went to the Doodlebop concert at the Puyallup Fair. We went with our BFF's, Chrystal and Bella. The girls had a great time! We were close enough so they could see the characters. Adrienne even danced along. Then both the girls were on the big screen...it was quite exciting! Angie and Grace were there but seperate from us and Grace was very excited to spot her baby cousin on the big screen.

Dog Bite

Last Tuesday, Kenny Jr was playing with our neighbors' kids in their backyard. Unfortunately, their dog ended up biting Kenny in the thigh. It was just a couple of scratches and, after a trip to the doctor, he decided he would live. The worst part is that was the first time Kenny Jr had played with the neighbor kids! He is usually so shy. He was having fun too....quite a bummer! I felt awful for our neighbors too. They were really upset.

Preschool

Kenny Jr recently started preschool at Pony Trails in Bonney Lake. I was extremely nervous about how this would go over. Kenny Jr is my shy guy and that usually comes out as a defensive, growling 3 year old boy. So, needless to say, I think I was more nervous than he was on the first day.

Now here we are six classes into preschool and Kenny Jr is LOVING it! I could not be happier or prouder of him. He is so eager to go he can hardly wait to dress in the morning and get out the door. He is out of his booster seat before we are at the front of the drop off line. He loves his teacher and "playing, playing, playing"!

One more time....

Okay I am going to try this again! I am committing to updating our blog once a week. So hold me to it!
